The tread has an aggressive lug design that performs well in a wide range of different conditions, while the S-Path glide zone promotes natural heel strike and toe off, while keeping your central foot pressure where you want it – in direct contact with the ground. This works in in synergy with our motion guidance technology with a double-density EVA midsole to ensure sure-footedness.

In addition, the tried-and-tested SALEWA^® 3F system connects the instep area with the sole and heel for flexibility, a precise fit and support. In addition, TPU heel caps and side reinforcements ramp up the overall protection. For use during wetter conditions, the Speed Beat benefits from a stretch gaiter that keeps out trail debris and allows you to stash the laces and the Ortholite^® footbed ensures good moisture management.
